Cookbook Series Helps Children Travel the World, One Recipe at a Time
New York, NY -- The Handstand Kids Cookbook Company is proud to announce the release of The Handstand Kids All-Purpose Mats. The multi-purpose mats function not only as a placemat, but also as a light-weight, dishwasher-safe cutting board and workstation.
The educational Handstand Kids All-Purpose Mats provide kid-chefs with a necessary kitchen tool while sticking to the Handstand Kids Company mantra that simultaneously introduces them to countries and languages around the world.
There are four mats designs available; one illustrates a kitchen scene while the other three parallel the Italian, Mexican and Chinese cookbooks. The country-specific placemats feature a map of the region and language translations of cooking utensils and foods used in the corresponding Handstand Kids Cookbooks.
The back-side of the All-Purpose Mats introduces kid-chefs to the five Handstand Kids characters. Each has diverse interests and backgrounds: Felix is a vegetarian; Izzy loves to cook for his diabetic sister; Ari uses her cooking skills to volunteer at kid's charities; Gabby is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English; and Marvin is an aspiring executive chef.
